The College of Digital Design was founded in 2005 to meet the growing industry demand for digital design talent. The idea began in 2002, and the college was created by combining three departments and two graduate programs from the College of Business:
In 2006, we established the Graduate Institute of Digital Content and Animation Design. Four years later in 2010, the Department of Creative Product Design became an official department to support Taiwan's emerging industries and train skilled product design professionals.
Over the years, the College of Digital Design has continued to expand and evolve, adding new departments and programs to meet the changing demands of the digital design industry. The college now comprises multiple academic units that cover various aspects of digital design, multimedia, and creative technologies.
