Department of Information and Communication

The department offers a comprehensive program in information and digital communication, spanning content creation, communication theory, and technology. It supports diverse academic needs and prepares students for the dynamic digital media industry. Facilities include advanced editing suites, animation design labs, and cutting-edge audio and virtual recording studios—making it one of southern Taiwan’s top production environments.

We offer BFA and MA degrees in Visual Communication Design, which include Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Animation Design, and Industrial Design. The Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science is a top-tier training institute for game and animation professionals in East Asia, offering comprehensive four-year and graduate programs. Over the past 20 years, our outstanding graduates have found positions in many renowned digital media companies. "South Taiwan Doluo Department" is highly regarded as a strong industry support. Our expertise includes game design, storytelling, art design, programming, AI creation, 2D animation, 3D animation, digital music, and visual effects, enabling students to grow in a dynamic learning atmosphere influenced by ACG subcultures.

Our university, recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education as a model technological institution, offers strong support and a clear academic vision. Department of Popular Music Industry

The Popular Music Industry Department at STUST is Taiwan’s pioneer in training pop music professionals with creative talent and global vision. The program focuses on music creation and performance, event planning and management, recording and post-production, and stage lighting and sound engineering. Students can specialize in either Music Creation and Performance or Audio and Stage Production, supported by performing arts courses to prepare for success in the pop music industry.
